For each project featured I was sent the text to layout across two pages of A5. After reading about each project I sent back two complimentary illustration ideas to each project leader, for the Latinx Studies project we went with the large X.
The varied projects were all in very different fields. I enjoyed being able to include images sent over by the researchers as well as my own illustrations, the piece of art below in the Creative Climates project is by artist Lucy Stevens. The work represents a morning commute, the different colours and shapes being the different forms of air pollution and the size proportion on the canvas that form makes up on the journey. Very cool.
