My sketchbooks are always full of half-drawn theatre interiors. I go to the theatre a lot and there’s always interesting architecture to look at before the play.

(“interesting” = sometimes lovely and traditional, sometimes not.)

I was sketching a bit of the Apollo when all sorts of horrible, embarrassing things started to happen to me. Ah well, I’m sure I’ll look back and laugh.
