Based in West Yorkshire I do my design and illustration work between being front of house at the family antiquarian bookshop.

I studied Children's Book Illustration at the Cambridge School of Art after an illustration degree in Dundee (my dream was to work on the BEANO- there's still time). I had 15 years in the art departments of TV drama but am very happy with my move into the book trade.

​My passions have always been food, theatre, gothic horror stories, channel4's 1990s topical sitcom Drop the Dead Donkey, and obscure or dead character actors.
